On January 10, 2026, we welcomed 26 members and guests at our luncheon at Bistro La Baguette. It was our first Causerie of the year … and three members talked about different topics related to France: (1) Beth Hall shared her experience as a student for three weeks at the prestigious language school Institut de Français in Villefranche sur-Mer, a town on the French Riviera … (2) Mercy Indyk talked about how to choose a French “fromage”, to display on a charcuterie board … and (3) Olena Gryshchenkova spoke about Apt, a little town in Provence and how people live there, also about market days. We thank them all for their dedication and help to our members.
